Shawn Revere named LogoJET Solutions Specialist

Shawn Revere joined the LogoJET staff in July 2019 and has recently been named Solutions Specialist. Revere’s varied and unique background, including working in manufacturing, hospitality and the oil industry with Baker Hughes, has served him well at LogoJET. Shawn is also an entrepreneur and continues to manage his own company called The Vinyl Countdown, a vinyl cutter supply company that sells materials to the crafting industry. This diverse background has made him a quick study to understand the UV printing industry and has given him the background and ability to understand how to best respond to clients’ needs.

A Lafayette, Louisiana, native, Revere considers himself a jack of all trades. He’s married to Maria Evans Revere and is the father of three children — Shawn Jr., Remy and Ella Grace, the youngest, who has special needs.

“Part of the reason for me wanting to leave the oil field was that I was on call every other week — and that really affected my family life,” Revere said. “Having a kid with special needs has forced me to look at everything from ‘today is a blessing’ perspective.”

One of Revere’s strengths is easily adapting to situations. He says when he met Susan Cox, he could see that working with LogoJET would be a good fit both with his skill set and personality.

“Susan’s angle is always, ‘What’s the story?’ You build rapport and listen to what people are saying,” Revere said. “I believe in listening to our clients, then working to find ways to help them accomplish those goals. As a company, LogoJET is always striving to achieve better things — I appreciate that perspective.”

Another aspect of working at LogoJET that Revere enjoys is the opportunity to meet and talk to new people — and the constant challenge of finding solutions for clients’ needs to improve their return on investment, which fits in well with one of LogoJET’s core values, solution-oriented.

“Shawn works diligently to make sure our customers get what they need to achieve their goals — and often goes outside the duties one might expect,” said Susan Cox, LogoJET founder and CEO. “I’ve even seen him help a client fix an adhesion problem with another printer brand and solving an issue.”
Revere says his favorite LogoJET printer is the UVx40R PLUS, which has a print area of 18” x 24”

“The new printer release was a direct result of customer feedback. Customers loved the original series and asked for more print area,” he said. “LogoJET’s dedication to giving customers what they want demonstrates our commitment as solution-orientedcompany. I am proud to represent a brand that resonates with my nature, my interests and my values — as LogoJET’s Solutions Specialist.”
