Solvent Inkjet Printer

Mimaki recently welcomed the JV3-130SPII to its family for large-format solvent inkjet printers. The 54-in. (1372-mm) unit is billed as affordable and low maintenance. It uses piezo heads and can print at speeds up to 478 sq ft/hr (44 sq m/hr) at 360 dpi. The JV3-130SPII supports resolutions up to 1440 dpi and offers four- or seven-color (CYMK or CMYKLcLm + White) print modes. Users can select from SS-2 standard, ES-3 eco, or HS-1 rugged solvent-ink systems. The printer comes standard with an automatic roll-take-up device, heater, drying fan, automatic cleaning system, selectable head heights (2 or 3 mm), and IEEE1394 ports.
