The Ink Kitchen Hosts Panther City Print Party 2 In Fort Worth

Come join The Ink Kitchen and fellow decorators at the Panther City Print Party 2 starting at 5:30 p.m. till close on Thursday, October 3 at The Post at River East. (Fort Worth has been known as The Panther City since 1875, when a flood drove a panther out from its habitat to wander the streets of Fort Worth, leaving tracks discovered the next morning.)

Benefitting the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition, this must-attend free event will feature music by Retrophonics, an ’80s and ’90s cover band, as well as free beer (Sam Adams) and snacks. Dinner is available for purchase. There will be free T-shirts, and donations will be accepted. People who want to contribute will have an opportunity to give cash during the party or go to

The Ink Kitchen, www.theinkkitchen.com is a garment decorator’s blog founded in 2014 by veteran industry screen printers Tom Davenport, Motion Textile, Sacramento, Calif., and Rick Roth, Mirror Image, Pawtucket, R.I. The pair trade off duties writing on timely topics of interest to anyone who makes a living at decorating apparel. 

Topics include artwork, business, embroidery, Misprint Monday, screen printing, employees, ethics, organics and much more. The pair also are a visible presence at industry trade shows and events where they make themselves available to answer questions and provide valuable information to those getting started or grappling with challenges.
