UV Inkjet Printer

Agfa Graphics recently debuted the :Anapurna M2 wide-format UV inkjet printer, which its bills as a feature-rich and heavy-duty industrial system. It comes standard with a vacuum-strength-control system designed for smooth substrate transport at high speeds, shuttle-safety sensors to protect printheads, an ionizing bar to prevent electrostatic loads on the substrate, and automated media-registration bars and head-height adjustment. The :Anapurna M2 features six Konica-Minolta printheads (1024 nozzles/head) and can handle roll-to-roll and rigid media. It supports a maximum media width of 62 in. (1575 mm), imaging resolutions up to 720 x 1440 dpi, uni- and bi-directional modes, and print speeds up to 247.5 sq ft/hr (23 sq m/hr). The printer uses Agfa’s UV-curable :Anapurna ink.
