Wide-Format Inkjet Printer

Graphtec says it has a cost/performance leader in its new SignJet Pro JS501-18ES, billed as a 72-in. (1829-mm), eco-friendly solvent inkjet printer. It uses 12 Xaas printheads at three heads per color (CMYK) and incorporates a three-zone media-heating system designed to improve ink adhesion and output clarity. The SignJet Pro JS501-18ES also features a printhead heater, an automated head cleaner, and an integrated dryer. The printer supports imaging resolutions up to 1440 dpi and speeds up to 387 sq ft/hr (36 sq m/hr). It’s compatible with RIp software from SAI and Onyx. Graphtec America Inc., 1251 E.
