Wide-Format Scan-Print System

Mutoh America and GEI WideFormat have partnered to deliver a bundled scan-print system. It combines a Colortrac SmartLF Gx 42 scanner with Mutoh’s ValueJet 1304-54 54-in. (1372-mm) eco-solvent printer in what the companies call a repro-stand to create a turnkey system. The Colortrac Gx42 ValueJet MFPconsists of a wide-format scanner, printer (uses Eco-Ultra inks), desktop computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a suite of software applications. Maximum scan width is 42 in. (1069 mm), print width is 54 in., and outdoor durability without lamination is rated up to three years. The scanner uses Colortrac’s CCD technology, engineered for high-resolution scans with wide color gamut, and the printer incorporates Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweave Print Technology (i2), designed to increase accuracy and consistency of dot-to-dot contact.
