Garment-Adhesive Applicator

M&R developed its In-Tac Internal Shirt Adhesive Application System to streamline and simplify oversize and all-over printing by applying adhesive inside garments before they reach the press. M&R says the process ensures that both sides of the garment are kept motionless and stable during the print process, even when loaded on top of the platen, rather than around it. In-Tac’s spray nozzle automatically applies a mist of corn-starch-based adhesive to the inside of the garment as the garment is pulled into position. A sensor detects the garment and emits a pre-determined amount of adhesive. After spraying, the garments can be stacked flat in preparation for loading onto the press.
