DuPont has widened its Cromanet, a CIELAB-based color-management system, with support for more spectrophotometers. The list of certified color-measurement instruments now includes GretagMacbeth Eye-One UV (handheld and robotic versions), GretagMacbeth iCColor Chart Reader, X-Rite DTP70 AutoScan, and X-Rite DTP41/45UV AutoScan. Cromanet offers a closed-loop color-calibration process that can be used to match proofing and press conditions, as well as color-editing tools.
