Gilman’s new Honeycomb is a 100% paper graphics board that’s manufactured from 72% recycled post-consumer material. The company says the board is completely recyclable/repulpable with other standard paper products, and Gilman describes the white substrates as dent resistant and outstandingly strong and rigid. The media’s core consists of a series of triangular cells. It is then bonded to white, SFI-certified paper facers. The company says the papers’ cores are up to 95% open space. The boards can be screen or digitally printed and are offered in 0.5-in. (12.7-mm) thicknesses in 48 x 96-in. (1219 x 2438-mm) standard sheets. Gilman Bros.
