Kornit Digital has introduced a discharge ink designed for its Avalanche DC Pro DTG inkjet printer. Designed as an integrated digital discharge-printing solution, the DC Pro inks allow full-color graphics to be printed on dark garments without a white underbase, reducing the amount of white ink printed and eliminating the need for pretreatment fluids while creating a soft hand on the final print.

Designed as an integrated digital discharge-printing solution, the DC Pro inks allow full-color graphics to be printed on dark garments without a white underbase, reducing the amount of white ink printed and eliminating the need for pretreatment fluids while creating a soft hand on the final print. The Avalanche DC Pro printer has six heads to accommodate CMYK + white + discharge printing; upgrade kits are also available that allow the DC Pro discharge ink to be used on other Avalanche printers. The inks are shipped ready to use, do not require special handling or mixing, and reportedly remain stable in the print heads for up to a year.
