A new digitally printed clear coat has enabled Matan Digital Printers and Orafol Americas to announce a 10-year outdoor warranty for traffic signage printed on the Matan DTS line of inkjet printers. The protective clear coat eliminates the need for a film overlaminate to protect against weathering and is printed with the graphics on the Matan printer in a single process, reportedly without affecting the print speed.

A new digitally printed clear coat has enabled Matan Digital Printers and Orafol Americas to announce a 10-year outdoor warranty for traffic signage printed on the Matan DTS line of inkjet printers. The protective clear coat eliminates the need for a film overlaminate to protect against weathering and is printed with the graphics on the Matan printer in a single process, reportedly without affecting the print speed. Orafol will now offer a 10-year warranty for signs printed on Oralite Series 5900 High Intensity Prismatic reflective film with Matan green and blue traffic colors and the new clear coat on top.

The Matan DTS printer line is available in 12-, 36-, and 40-in. widths, with 4 or 6 colors.
