Vomela Specialty Co., St. Paul, MN, a supplier of vinyl graphics to the recreational-vehicle industry, acquired High Point, NC-based Motorsports Designs Holding, Inc., a racing-graphics manufacturer for NASCAR. Under the acquisition, Motorsports will continue to service customers from its facilities in North Carolina, and John McKenzie will serve as chairman and CEO of Motorsports. He will be heavily involved in the daily operations of the business and will integrate Vomela’s added capabilities into Motorsports offerings. Kip Johnson, a ten-year veteran of Vomela, will act as president.
