Midwest Sign & Screen Printing Supply Co. expanded its product offerings with the addition of Durst’s Rho 600 Pictor flatbed UV inkjet printer and Roland’s VersaCAMM and SOLJET PRO printers. The Rho 600 printer features a hybrid platform, 30-picolitre, Generation II Quadro Array print system that delivers 600 x 600-dpi resolution, as well as speeds up to 270 sq ft/hr, 62 in. media width, and white ink, special-effect varnish, and spot colors. Other features include a Teflon-coated media-transport system, roll feed-and-take-up accessory, and optional template frame for printing multiple, small, eye-level signs.

The VersaCAMM four-color, eco-solvent printer/cutter is available in SP and VP models and features print resolutions up to 1400 dpi and print speeds up to 161 sq ft/hr (VP model). The printers are available in 30- and 54-in. models.

The SOLJET PRO XC-540 is a 54-in. printer that features six-color printing, speeds up to 441 sq ft/hr, and 1440 x 1440-dpi resolution. The XJ Series is available in 54-, 64-, and 74-in. printing widths and delivers print speeds up to 458 sq ft/hr (74-in. model), and 1440 x 1440-dpi resolution. The ADVANCEDJET industrial wide and grand-format solvent printer offers speeds up to 968 sq ft/hr (74-in. model) and features EcoXtreme six-color ink set.
