MACtac (www.MACtac.com) recently added three Permacolor overlaminates to its solutions for floor graphics. Each is designed to meet a new durability requirements. PF6400 and PF6500, part of the PermaFlex line, were engineered for short-term applications. MACtac is a 3.75-mil, clear, textured polyolefin film designed for short-term applications; PF6500 is a 4.3-mil, clear, PVC intermediate laminate designed for medium-term applications for up to three months. The Permacolor RAYZor Gloss LF3640 was recently approved for long-term indoor floor graphics for up to one year of durability.

It is a 1.5-mil, clear, gloss cast PVC film that, according to MACtac, offers superior protection and ease of installation. Each new Permacolor overlaminate has been tested and rated for slip resistance based on the ASTM C-1028 test method.
