More ink choices are now available for users of Mimaki’s JV3 series of wide-format solvent inkjet printers. SS2 is a cyclohexanone-free seven-color inkset (CMYK + LcLm + White) that is formulated for quick drying, high density with low bleeding, low odor, and use with normal air infiltration. Mimaki says it’s ideal for indoor and outdoor signage and compatible with a wide range of uncoated media. ES3 is a cyclohexanone-free six-color inkset (CMYK + LcLm) that is formulated for high density, abrasion resistance, extremely low odor, and use with normal air infiltration. Mimaki says the ink upgrades the color nature of the red end of the spectrum. HS ink is a six-color inkset (CMYK + LcLm) in which cyclohexanone is contained at 5% or lower.
