swissQprint Launches New Flatbed Printers

swissQprint (Kriessern, Switzerland) has announced two new Generation 5 flatbed printers, Oryx 5 and Topi 5, according to a press release.

Using the same build as the Nyala 5, Impala 5 and Kudu, the two new models come with 10 freely configurable color channels for neon, orange, varnish, primer, etc. Their modular expandability allows for roll-to-roll, dual-roll, oversize printing and collector-paper options, with fast 1,350 dpi precision, ink sets for different applications and easy retrofits of color channels. The Oryx 5 measures 98 in. wide and produces up to 1,227 sq. ft./hr. The Topi 5 has a 127.5 x 79.9-in. flatbed and runs up to 1,356 sq. ft./hr.

“Oryx 5 and Topi 5 are designed to pay off from day one,” Erik Norman, president of swissQprint America, is quoted in the release. “They offer flexibility, precise printing and efficiency that drive business success. Our strong service support and a 36-month factory warranty protect your investment for the long term. These printers stand for what matters most: quality, precision, reliability, longevity and easy operation.”
