GPI’s designed its all-aluminum Stay Flat platens to fit a range of foreign and domestic manual and automatic textile presses. G.P.I. says the platens can be manufactured to any size or shape, with or without specially formulated, heat-resistant rubber surfaces. Regular aluminum surface and special honeycomb-core platens also are available. G.P.I. also offers platen rubber in widths of 36 in.
