Inefficient press setup and slow production can be a thing of the past with M&R’s Challenger Z automatic garment press in your shop. Challenger Z is available in 12-, 14-, 16-, and 18-color models with a 20 x 28-in. (508 x 711-mm) maximum image area. Its direct digital control allows operators to use print parameters as an overall default or shared with other printheads at the touch of a button. Digitally controlled stroke length, pneumatic and mechanical squeegee-pressure control, and tool-free, calibrated angle adjustments are standard on the Challenger Z, as well as compatibility with prepress registration systems such as M&R’s Tri-Loc and Double-Tri-Loc. A platen preheat mode with a built-in temperature sensor allows operators to preheat platens to a desired temperature and track temperatures throughout the production cycle. Z-Series flash-cure units are available for on-the-fly flash-cure adjustments from the main control panel.
