Inkcups Now has launched Xtrans, an all-digital system for producing heat transfers for bags, garments, and more. With droplet sizes as small as 7 pL, the machine prints a max. resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi up to an area of 20 x 24 in. with 6 colors: CMYK + white and an adhesion promoter. The Xtrans features two UV-LED curing systems; staggered printheads for simultaneous white and color printing; and high-speed uni- or bidirectional printing.

With droplet sizes as small as 7 pL, the machine prints a max. resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi up to an area of 20 x 24 in. with 6 colors: CMYK + white and an adhesion promoter. The Xtrans features two UV-LED curing systems; staggered printheads for simultaneous white and color printing; and high-speed uni- or bidirectional printing. Users can print floating text and graphics as small as 5-pt type, according to the company; variable-data printing is also available within a single sheet.

Additional features include a 1-L bulk ink system for each color, an automatic negative pressure ink maintenance system, and automatic white ink maintenance. Xtrans comes with an industrial PC with RIP software, offering USB 2.0 connectivity and compatibility with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDraw.
