Graphics One combined the Japanese 87-4 print engine, Spectra printheads, and what the company describes as “industrial hybrid automatic UV lamps” to develop its new GO Fuzion UV. The four-color (CMYK), wide-format hybrid UV inkjet supports imaging resolutions up to 800 dpi, print speeds up to 248 sq ft/hr (23 sq m/hr), flexible and rigid substrates up to 87 in. wide, and rigid media up to 1.6 in. thick. The printer uses UV Fuzion Ink and features electronic head-height adjustment and two UV lamps. Wasatch SoftRIP drives the printer. Graphics One, 717 N.
