Kornit Digital has released the 70.8-in. Presto roll-to-roll direct-to-fabric printer. Positioned as a more sustainable press with waterless printing, the Presto utilizes water-based NeoPigment Robusto inks and Fixation on the Fly technology to inject fixation fluids through the printheads onto the fabric to eliminate the need for pre- or post-treating fabric. NeoPigment Robusto Softener offers on-demand, dry digital softening for fast fashion applications. Additional features include integration with web-to-print platforms, fully automated production process, availability of multiple speed configurations, compatibility with any RIP software, axial unwinding system with adjustable fabric width and tension mechanisms, and advanced modular curing with adhesive belt conveyor system. The machine images a variety of fabrics, including synthetics, naturals, and blends, according to the company.
