MHM Offers Iron Attachment
Helps prevent fibrillation; can also improve underbases.
The MHM Pro Iron, a heat attachment distributed exclusively in the US by Hirsch Solutions, can be used on any printhead of an MHM automatic screen-printing press. Placed before the first screen, the Pro Iron mats down loose shirt fibers to reduce the possibility of fibrillation and improve the appearance of the final print without slowing down production. Placed after the first flash, the unit can be used to flatten underbases, creating a smoother surface for the overprint colors. It can also be used in conjunction with MHM’s In-Line Foil Unit to apply foil effects directly on press. The Pro Iron can be set to temperatures up to 392 degrees F, and speed and pressure are adjustable at the printheads.
