Mimaki’s Tiger-1800B Digital Textile Printer

Offers direct-to-textile or transfer dye sublimation output.

Mimaki has released the Tiger-1800B inkjet printer available in direct-to-textile or transfer dye sublimation printing versions. The 74.8-in. machine offers print speeds up to 4144 sq ft/hr, 16 staggered printheads for the direct-to-textile model (8 for the transfer dye sub model), 600-dpi print resolution, and a 10-L ink tank. The Tiger-1800B is designed for applications including fashion textiles, performance apparel, soft signage, interior décor, and more.

Features include an adhesive belt transport system with belt washing technology and in-line heat drying unit; wrinkle and media jam sensors; a built-in PC with Q Print production control software; a Degassing Module designed to reduce clogging; and Variable Drop Printing and Ink Circulation technology. The dye sub model is equipped with a Jumbo Roll Unit. The direct-to-textile model offers optional Roll Media Centering Unit, Jumbo Roll Unit, Plaited Unit, and Take-Up Unit for high-density printed fabrics.
