Onyx Graphics has added the newest edition of its line of print software, encompassing Thrive workflow software, ProductionHouse, PosterShop, and RIPCenter. Version 12 features a 64-bit platform across each product, designed for speeds reportedly double those of Onyx 11. The reengineered system offers a new user interface featuring an interactive, customizable job list enabling operators to quickly find jobs, view printer information, and make edits.

The reengineered system offers a new user interface featuring an interactive, customizable job list enabling operators to quickly find jobs, view printer information, and make edits. A new bleed function allows users to produce new applications – for example, adding borders to wrapped canvas prints or top/bottom extensions for pop-up displays – without the need to redesign the original artwork. New finishing tools have also been added, including automatic grommet and mark placement.
