Canon U.S.A., Inc. and Technesis, Inc. recently joined forces to release Technesis iBridge software for Canon imagePROGRAF printers. The module imports job logs from a Canon imagePROGRAF large-format printer into the Technesis Print Control System for job tracking, accounting, reporting, and pricing. Job-specific information, such as media, length, width, area, and ink consumption, is imported from the Canon imagePROGRAF controller and automatically delivered to the Technesis database, thereby allowing reporting and costing for each job sent to the Canon imagePROGRAF printer.
