Twenty four Spectra printheads and imaging resolutions up to 1200 dpi are some of the features Gandinnovations offers in its new Jeti 5024 RTR, a 16.8-ft-wide (5.1-m-wide) UV roll-to-roll inkjet printer. Four heads are dedicated to each color, allowing for six color combinations. The 1200-dpi printing resolution is the newest option available on all Jeti UV-curable wide-format inkjets. Reinforced and pressure-sensitive vinyl, canvas, fabrics, mesh, and paper are among the roll-fed substrates that are compatible with the printer. It accepts rolls up to 16.8 ft wide and 12 in. (305 mm) in diameter on a 3-in. (76-mm) inside core. The printer also features a take-up unit, nozzle-misfire detection, and automatic head capping.
