Summa L1810 offers contactless laser cutting for a variety of materials.
Summa has added the L1810 laser cutter designed for the sportswear, apparel, swimwear, dye sub garment, and technical textile markets, as well as raw materials in the composite industry. The 71-in. flatbed cutter utilizes contactless cutting technology to process materials including sensitive and easily distorted textiles with precision. Features include a conveyor system for continuous production with roll materials; a smart camera system to detect and adjust media deformities; optional Vision system designed to reduce waste, scan materials, and create vectors for cutting without the need for a cutting file; and internal extraction system to remove fumes.
