Pretreatment Module from Pigment.inc

Automates liquid dosing and dries inline.

Pigment.inc has launched the GoTx roll-fed fabric pretreatment system, designed to help direct-to-textile printers improve prepress precision and reduce product waste. The module features a rotational dosing liquid drum that distributes the correct amount of pretreatment solution to the top surface of the fabric without wetting the underside; this is designed to ensure that the hand and weight of the fabric do not change during production. A four-zone horizontal fixation unit dries material inline so it is ready to print upon exiting the machine.

Two models are available with a max. media width of 74.8 or 102.4 in. Processing speed is quoted up to 861 sq ft/hr. Pigment.inc reports the module is compatible with any brand of direct-to-fabric printer.
