Mind’s Eye Graphics Inc. in partnership with Douthitt Corporation is proud to announce their Computer-To-screen Workshop at MEG. The workshop will be hosted at Mind’s Eye Graphics, Inc. in Decatur, IN on Feb 1, 2019.

 

This $149.00/person 1 day hands-on workshop will utilize the facilities of Mind’s Eye Graphics, Inc. at 1019 W. Commerce Drive, Decatur, IN 46733. There is a special early bird price until Dec. 31, 2018 of $99.00, and also a discount for additional members of the same company on one registration form. All aspects of the Computer to Screen loop will be addressed starting with screen cycle cost analysis, rethinking your screen production loop, how to create and use your template, resolution settings, water based ink vs wax, emulsion/coating, LEDs vs metal halide exposures, and concluding with exposure, washout and press set-up efficiency. Special attention will be paid to using and understanding wax-based Computer to Screen equipment.  One-on-one demonstrations are also available.

Technical instructions will be provided by Mark Diehl of Douthitt Corporation, along with Greg Kitson, and the Mind’s Eye staff. These instructors will bring well over 100 years of professional screen making experience in all types of textile production facilities large and small. 

 

The $149.00/person workshop fee includes 2 networking meals with snacks & beverages. Each participant will leave the session with a Screen Cycle Cost Analysis Worksheet and an Image Location Template ($50.00 value).
