Laconia, NH –If you are a small to medium embroidery shop and have ever turned away badge business, this webinar was meant for you! On Wednesday, March 6, at 2:30 pm EST (11:30 am PST), Madeira USA will host a free webinar that will present methods of small volume badge production. Steve Freeman, managing partner of award-winning QDigitizing will be a featured presenter.

There are two tools on the market that enable embroiderers to create badges. The Multifunctional Frame System (MFS) is a hooping system that utilizes paper-framed film to use as a substrate on which to stitch out a badge. When complete, the badge simply pulls out from the plastic film, producing an individual free-standing badge. This system also enables high stitch count badges to be added to slippery, stretchy performance wear apparel with a minimum of stitches.

Also, the film that is used in the MFS hooping system’s pre-frames is available to hoop on its own for larger sized badges or patches. Proper digitizing is necessary for best results, and the webinar will be reviewing the steps to take to insure success. In addition, the webinar will be covering

How to produce a stand-alone badge with minimal effort

The correct way to digitize for best results

An alternative to heat seal for fixing a finished badge to a garment

A streamlined method for mass producing name badges

Attaching a high stitch count design to performance wear

The webinar is designed for both embroiderers who do their own digitizing, as well as those who send out for digitizing. Steve Freeman brings nearly 30 years of digitizing experience to the webinar, in order to help with as many questions as can be covered in real time. All questions submitted will be answered in follow up.
