SA International (SAi), the leading provider of software solutions for the professional signmaking, wide-format digital printing and CAD/CAM for CNC machining industries, has announced details of its latest nationwide education and training workshops covering two of its most popular software solutions.

The company’s FlexiLIVE Workshops are geared towards the sign and large format print community, while the EnRoute Workshops have been devised to offer invaluable advice and instruction to CNC woodworking, signmaking and millworking companies, as well as those within the nested-based manufacturing and fabrication industries. Between them, the two separate programs are set to advise and inspire users in more than twenty cities across the USA and Canada over a mammoth 40-plus date schedule.

FlexiLIVE Workshops – new educational elements for 2017
Set to visit 12 different cities across the USA throughout the year, SAi’s FlexiLIVE Workshops are designed to deliver essential training and educational support to signshops and large format print providers. As with similar tours held previously, the FlexiLIVE Workshops will once again be conducted by Flexi-certified instructor Mark Rugen. With over 30 years’ experience in the sign and print industry, including as owner of two sign shops, Mark’s thorough understanding of the everyday issues facing sign shops gives him a unique perspective on training and education.
The Flexi-dedicated sessions will see Mark fully explore the wider range of features offered by the industry-leading signmaking software, thereby equipping users with valuable tools and know-how to maximize their use of the solution and enhance their operations.

Working with dealers and leading signshops, as well as OEM partners like Mutoh, SAi aims to deliver an intensive and insightful city-to-city training program for attendees. As part of this, the company has added an additional new Color Management Secrets Seminar across some of its workshops*. Using FlexiSIGN & PRINT software this informative addition will see attendees learn how to thoroughly test and setup any Flexi RIP for their large format printer(s), as well as gain an understanding of the necessary RIP and printer adjustments required to achieve higher quality color output. This session will also include hands-on practice to build an ICC profile for the printer and adjust existing ICC profiles using Mutoh printers.

Getting the most out of CNC routers via EnRoute Workshops
In addition to its FlexiLIVE Workshops, SAi is also running an extensive EnRoute Workshop program that will span 12 cities from the East to West coast until December. Engineered to be both enjoyable and informative, this two-day event will see attendees receive hands on, project-based instruction on every facet of SAi’s industry-leading EnRoute CAD/CAM software. This includes training and education on essential productivity and design tools from creative 2D design and toolpathing to the more advanced 3D techniques and texturing.

Attending ‘students’ will hear from expert speakers who will provide a useful and thorough overview of the advanced feature-rich EnRoute, and explain various tips and tricks to ensure users enhance their CNC routing capabilities and improve throughput.
