Leading wide-format digital printer manufacturer Roland DGA has announced its 2016 schedule of Roland Academy Born-to-Wrap™ workshops. This follows the company’s recent record-breaking “Born-to-Wrap” vehicle wrap webinar in December, a free live webcast that attracted nearly 1,000 registrants. Offered by Roland throughout the year, these comprehensive classes offer those interested in vehicle wrap the opportunity to learn from the best in the business – the experts at Digital EFX Wraps.

Roland’s Born-to-Wrap workshops provide a wealth of information for both wrap novices and established vehicle wrap business owners and technicians looking to take their operations to the next level. In addition to classroom education, the workshops include hands-on instruction in a setting that simulates an actual shop environment. Students also pick up useful tips for getting the most of Roland’s advanced wide-format printers for a variety of vehicle wrap applications. In 2016, workshops will be conducted at Digital EFX headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, the campus of NASCAR’s legendary Richard Childress Racing (RCR) team in Welcome, North Carolina, and the Roland DGA headquarters in Irvine, California.

The popularity of Roland’s past Born-to-Wrap workshops as well as the recent Born-to-Wrap webinar is indicative of the growing level of interest in vehicle wraps nationwide, which appears to be at an all-time high. To complement its Born-to-Wrap workshop schedule, Roland DGA is planning on offering additional free wrap-related webinars in 2016. A schedule for Roland’s Born-to-Wrap webinars will be released at a later date.

“Born-to-Wrap workshop attendees walk away with wrap installation knowledge and operational tips they can begin applying immediately in real-world settings,” said Matt Richart, co-owner of Digital EFX Wraps and the leader of Roland’s Born-to-Wrap workshops. “These are lessons and best practices that took us years to discover and master, so there’s no better way to learn the ‘ins and outs’ of the trade without investing a significant amount of time and money. Our Roland academy Born-to-Wrap webinars are the perfect complement to our more extensive two-day and one-day workshops. To my knowledge, Roland is the only company in the industry offering these kind of webinars at no charge.”

In addition to Roland’s general two-day (Basics & Beyond) Born-to-Wrap workshops, which provide an excellent overview for beginning to intermediate level wrappers, the company will also be offering special one-day classes focusing specifically on the “Business and Design” elements of vehicle wrap. These classes are ideal for those who already have a general understanding of the installation process, but want to learn new and effective ways to develop unique designs, attract new customers, and elevate the overall success of their businesses.
