GPA Announces Julie Shakoor Has Joined their Team

GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for offset, digital, and wide format printing, announces that Julie Shakoor has joined GPA as their newest Business Development Manager. Shakoor will focus her experience, passion, and knowledge of the local market on helping GPA’s customers in Northern New Jersey and the New York metro area advance their businesses.

 

GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for offset, digital, and wide format printing, announces that Julie Shakoor has joined GPA as their newest Business Development Manager. Shakoor will focus her experience, passion, and knowledge of the local market on helping GPA’s customers in Northern New Jersey and the New York metro area advance their businesses.

 

Shakoor comes to GPA with 28 years of experience in the printing and graphic arts industry. For the last eight years, Shakoor worked for HP Indigo as a Commercial Sales Representative, helping accelerate sales and grow HP’s market share in her territory. Prior to HP Indigo, she worked for other industry leaders, including Kodak, Pitman Company, and E.I. DuPont in a variety of sales and technical roles. While at E.I. Dupont, Shakoor had the distinction of earning two U.S. patents for co-inventing new formulation technology for graphic arts films. Over the course of her career, she has been recognized for her outstanding contributions with numerous sales and performance awards.

Shakoor holds a Master of Science degree in Imaging and Photographic Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She maintains an active industry presence through her involvement in Printing Industries Alliance events.
