According to Nikolai Mikkelsen, MCT’s President and CTO, “With the introduction of our new VersaTech2, manufactured in the U.S. and fully tested in Milwaukee, a new level of performance and availability has been reached, allowing MCT to actively increase availability to the South, starting in Mexico.” Steen Mikkelsen, MCT’s CEO, adds, “Because of SEGRA’s extensive experience selling grand format printers, and especially with the fastest growth for digital fabric printing being in LATEX, SEGRA was a great match for the “All-in-One™” capabilities of the VersaTech2.” The cutters are also tightly coupled with Caldera RIPs, utilizing their newest CUT output capabilities, adding to SEGRA’s benefits for MCT.

“For SEGRA, the addition of the MCT VersaTech product line allows us to more specifically pair its cutting/routing capabilities with the capabilities of the printers that we have been selling, providing a full print & cut solution” says Ing. Raul Rodrigues Munster, SEGRA’s Director General. SEGRA will be at the MCT booth # 716 at SGIA helping to introduce the VersaTech2 to the Mexican marketplace. They will also have the ability to demonstrate VersaTech capabilities at MCT’s first site outside Mexico City at MAGNACROMdigital, a high end digital fabric printer utilizing the VersaTech 3.2m X 3.2m Laser solution with motorized fabric unroll capability and new “LaserBelt™” for conveying.
