M&R Promotes Five to New Roles

M&R recently announced the promotions of the following team members:

Dave Blake – Vice President of Sales

Peter Walsh –Executive Vice President

Glen Carliss – Director of Sales – USA & Canada

Tolga Efendi –Director of Digital Operations

Michelle Smudde – Director of Human Resources

Dave Blake – Vice President of Sales

Dave Blake is a long-time industry professional; from running his own printshop to his early years at Clinton supply, to his 12-year tenure with M&R as International sales manager, Dave has worked tirelessly with his team building a worldwide network of distributors and agents that is second to none.

Going forward as V.P. of Sales, Dave will utilize his organizational skills and vast worldwide knowledge of the screen-printing industry to further unite the M&R sales force as a single cohesive team. Dave will be overseeing North American Sales, International Sales, Customer Service, and M&R Digital Sales.

Peter Walsh – Executive Vice President

Peter Walsh is another Industry veteran that will help lead M&R with his vast worldwide view of our industry and experience. Peter will capitalize on not only his end user and industry experience, but also that of his industrial manufacturing experience to lead M&R’s executive initiatives into the future. Peter will be overseeing Technical Services, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management.

Glen Carliss – Director of Sales – USA & Canada

Glen Carliss has always been more than just your “typical” regional sales manager. Glen is a “peripheral visionary” meaning he sees so much more than the end sale. He embraces and teaches, the culture that is M&R, cultivating more than just customers, but building relationships that few in this industry have. Glen will impart and apply that philosophy as director of sales for the US and Canada, building more than just a “sales” force, but a customer focused team to teach, help, and inform the current and next wave of M&R customers.

Tolga Efendi – Director of Digital Operations

Tolga Efendi is a 13-year veteran employee of M&R with a vast store of industry & corporate knowledge. Tolga played an instrumental role in building M&R’s parts department into a world class leader in parts and customer support, he is currently heading up M&R’s west coast sales division. Tolga will be using his “get things done” approach to grow M&R’s Digital operations into a world class division, pushing new technology to broaden M&R’s product range.

Michelle Smudde – Director of Human Resources

Michelle may have only been with M&R for a little under a year, but her passion for HR and the betterment of M&R’s greatest asset, our employees, has more than proven herself as M&R blue, thru and thru. With over 15 years of HR experience, Michelle is no stranger to implementing policies and programs to build a stronger workforce and sense of pride.
