Mind’s Eye Graphics Inc. in partnership with SAATI Print Division is proud to announce PROScreen Professional Screenmaking Workshop at Mind’s Eye Decatur IN location April 8-9, 2016.

 

This $149.99/person 2 day hands-on workshop will utilize the facilities of Mind’s Eye Graphics, Inc. at 1019 W Commerce Drive, Decatur, IN 46733. There is also special early bird price until March 11th of $99.99 and also a 10% discount to other members of the same company. All aspects of the Screenmaking loop will be addressed starting with frame and mesh selection, rapid mesh tensioning, mesh prep, emulsion choice and coating techniques, exposure calculation and optimization concluding with reclaim options and screen chemistry choices in a textile printing environment.

Special attention will be paid to using and understanding screen testing and calibration equipment including, but not limited to, Mesh Tension Meters, Moisture Meters, Emulsion Thickness Gages and Exposure Calculators.

 

Technical instructions will be provided by Keith Perkins & Alan Howe of SAATI Print Division, along with Greg Kitson, and the Mind’s Eye Staff. These instructors will bring well over 150 years of professional screen making experience in all types of textile priority facilities large and small.

 

The $149.99/person workshop fee includes 3 networking meals with snacks & beverages. Each participant will leave the session with samples 1 gallon of emulsion and various reclaim chemistry products as well as being entered in a drawing for various door prizes provided by industry vendors.
