Sakurai to Host Specialty Finishing Open House

Sakurai has announced plans for a Specialty Finishing Open House for IADD FSEA Odyssey attendees, vendors and guests from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The Sakurai event, which includes refreshments, is being held on the evening prior to the opening of IADD FSEA Odyssey Expo.

Sakurai has announced plans for a Specialty Finishing Open House for IADD FSEA Odyssey attendees, vendors and guests from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The Sakurai event, which includes refreshments, is being held on the evening prior to the opening of IADD FSEA Odyssey Expo.

Sakurai will showcase three different UV specialty finishing applications over offset printed material, including:

• Spot raised UV Clear/High Gloss
• Spot Glow in the Dark
• Spot Soft Touch

These specialty finishes will be applied by a screen printing method at speeds ranging from 2,500-3,000 images per hour. The demonstration also includes set up and operation of a Sakurai Maestro MS102AII cylinder screen press. Sakurai experts will be on hand to discuss the equipment, applications, as well as UV coatings.

Sakurai will also provide specialty finishing solutions and information on its full range of screen and offset press systems in booth 904 at IADD FSEA Odyssey, May 13-15, 2015 at the Schaumburg Convention Center, located just a few miles from the Sakurai Headquarters.
