Once again, the American Sign Museum will be holding its annual Online Auction to benefit our operating budget. We have now completed our first full year in our new home, and as we continue to expand, our expenses also grow. Support the museum by donating products, equipment and/or services to our 2014 auction.

Once again, the American Sign Museum will be holding its annual Online Auction to benefit our operating budget. We have now completed our first full year in our new home, and as we continue to expand, our expenses also grow. Support the museum by donating products, equipment and/or services to our 2014 auction.

The auction – while online – is held in conjunction with the International Sign Association Expo in Orlando, Florida. Online bidding will begin on Tuesday, April 1 (no foolin!) at 10:00 am EST and close at 3 pm EST on Saturday, April 26, 2014 — the last day of the show. Bidders will once again be able to bid on items at our booth at the show (Booth #1416). Accordingly, those of you who are exhibiting new products at the show may very well want to feature them by donating these same products to the auction. What a wonderful way to announce your newest offerings!

And while we love to receive and promote products and services related to the sign industry, we also welcome consumer goods, such as iPads, cameras, vacations, you name it! Gift certificates are always a great idea. We do suggest a minimum retail/market value of $500.

We have created the best possible circumstances to give you the most marketing value for your donation, especially for those of you in the sign industry. Not only will you create awareness among show attendees, but to the entire sign industry. Many state and regional sign associations have already agreed to promote the auction to their members. Sign industry-related sites such as www.signweb.com will also be highlighting the auction. Additionally, you can hyperlink to your web site from our Online Auction web site and feature any or all products. You may even want to create a special area on your site just for the Online Auction. And don’t forget social media opportunities! The possibilities are limitless.

We would be more than glad to discuss with you all the marketing opportunities the Online Auction presents. Call Tod Swormstedt @ 513-701-2183 or e-mail at tod@signmuseum.org.

Since moving to our permanent home in 2012, great things have been happening at the museum. Donating to the auction is a great way for you to help us keep the momentum going.

Donate to the Auction today! Here’s how:
• Submit your donation information online by clicking here,
• Or complete our donor form and send to us by fax, email, or surface mail. We will contact you once the form has been reviewed.

All proceeds benefit the operating fund of the American Sign Museum. We are a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit corporation.
