M&R Companies has officially relocated its headquarters to a new 320,000-square-foot facility in Roselle, Illinois. Initially announced in June, the move “affords us the unique opportunity to streamline production and introduce new computerized and robotic design, machining, and assembly tools,” says CEO Rich Hoffman in a release. “It also allows us to bring all our domestic production under one roof” – the company’s manufacturing was previously split between its Glen Ellyn and Niles, Illinois, locations.

“The new facility will bring economies of scale, space for more linear assembly scenarios, and the latest in high-tech equipment – while at the same time reducing the redundancy inherent in our current multifacility environment,” adds Mike Sonera, general manager.

The company expects to double its manufacturing capacity by January 1.
