Drupa and ESMA Team to Showcase Functional Printing

The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) will host two pavilions dedicated to functional and industrial printing at the upcoming drupa tradeshow in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) will host two pavilions dedicated to functional and industrial printing at the upcoming drupa tradeshow in Düsseldorf, Germany.

In Hall 3, ESMA members will demonstrate new techniques, machinery, and applications such as screen-printing equipment used for food decoration (SPS); developments in conductive and technical printing (Atma); printing pressure-sensitive adhesives with high electrical conductivity (Kiwo); glass decoration (ESC); and inks used for touch panels, tablets, smartphone masks, and more (Marabu).

In Hall 6, exhibitors Color Passport and ColorGate will display new approaches to color management for industrial inkjet printing on a variety of substrates. At the Intrinsic Materials booth, visitors can observe the use of nanomaterials in conductive inks and other printed electronics components in the medical industry, such as disposable testers with smart tags.

Drupa will take place May 31 through June 10 at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds.
